RO Membrane Housing Specifications

The material of the RO membrane housing is FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene) + ABS. It features a buckle connect type, an outside diameter of 3.03", and a length of 12". The inlet size is 1/4" OD tube, and the outlet size is also 1/4" OD tube. This housing is compatible with RO membranes of 24 GPD, 36 GPD, 50 GPD, 75 GPD, 100 GPD, 150 GPD, and 200 GPD.

The packing list includes a 2.0" x 12" RO housing, a wrench, a check valve, 2 quick connectors, and 3 pieces of 1/4" water tubing.

Notes

1. Do not freeze the housing.
2. Rinse the elements for 1 hour prior to first use to remove the protection material, as this will help ensure the TDS of the pure water is at the right level.
3. The first full tank of permeate must be discarded and not used for drinking or food preparation.
4. If you have chlorinated water, it is recommended to use a Carbon/Sediment Pre-Filter, as the residual chlorine will destroy the membrane. If the water hardness is too high, it is recommended to install a water softener before the RO unit.
