Important Notes: 1. Do not freeze the membrane. 2. Flush the new membrane for 30 minutes to remove the protective material. This will help the TDS of the pure water reach the desired level. 3. If your water is chlorinated, use a carbon/sediment pre-filter, as residual chlorine can damage the membrane. If the water hardness is too high, install a water softener before the RO unit.
